• Adult companion (8 hours maximum a day; consumer-directed & agency)

• Personal assistance (consumer-directed and agency)
• Personal Emergency Response System (PERS)
• Prevocational services (780 units maximum a year of day support and supported employment)
• Residential support (group home or person's home)
• Respite care (720 hours maximum a year; consumer-directed and agency)
• Skilled nursing services
• Supported employment (780 hours maximum a year of day support and prevocational units)
• Therapeutic consultation (including behavioral consultation)

Eligibility: Diagnosis of mental retardation, income limits, must meet the criteria for eligibility for placement in an Intermediate Care Facility for Mentally Retarded (ICF/MR). There are waiting lists for services.

Intake: Self-referral and referrals from family, schools and other agencies are accepted. Region Ten has a central point of entry for all services.Call 972-1800 to schedule an appointment with an Intake Clinician if you live in Charlottesville or Albemarle.
