Eligibility:

Students receiving special education services age 16 and older and adults with a documented disability that poses a barrier to employment.

Individuals must be able to perform self-care independently or be able to secure assistance (i.e. medication, toileting, mobility.)

Must be able to conduct self in a manner that poses no threat to oneself or others.

Must have a funding stream and arrange own transportation.

Intake:

Referrals for services may be made by Department of Rehabilitative Services (DRS), Department of the Blind and Vision Impaired (VDBVI), the Department of Social Services (DSS) or the school systems.

The referral process begins by contacting the appropriate agency for an Intake Interview. The intake process will obtain information on a person's interests, strengths and limitations as well as written consent for pertinent records to aid in eligibility review.

Fees:

Being financially eligible for services through DRS, DBVI, or DSS usually will mean that an individual will not have to pay for services.

Fee for services as set through Department of Rehabilitative Services (DRS) is $56.73/per hour.
