Services:

Enroll in on-grounds University of Virginia credit courses as a nondegree student with the exception of the Schools of Medicine, Law and Education.

Community Scholars may enroll in up to two classes each semester, along with any dependent lab or discussions for a maximum of eight credit hours.

UVA's School of Arts and Sciences will accept a maximum of 16 transfer credit hours.

Staff is available to answer questions on the program and academic matters.

Eligibility:

A Standard Diploma or GED is required to enroll for a credit course.

Adults who wish to take graduate courses must provide proof of an undergraduate degree at registration.

It is up to you to follow the registration process and deadlines.

Note: You must complete the registration in person at Zehmer Hall.

Fees:

Tuition:
In-state: $235 per credit hour
Out-of-state: $991 per credit hour
There is no financial aid available for a nondegree student.
