Services:

Production Division

Services: Assembly, packaging and shrink wrapping services provided to local companies in a safe, protective environment. Rehabilitation services focus on assessment for work, general work training and for those not transitioning to the community, longer-term employment.

Wages: Individuals participating in this program receive a wage commensurate with their abilities. This wage is paid either on piece rate basis or an hourly basis based on productivity and quality. WorkSource has a Department of labor exemption to pay less than minimum wage based on disability and productivity.

Hours:

Office Hours - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Mon. - Fri.
Production Hours - 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Mon. - Fri.

Area Served:

Planning District 10

Eligibility:

Any individual with a documented disability and is 16 years of age or older. Generally resides in Planning District 10 but exceptions can be made. Must not be a threat to themselves or others and does not require extraordinary medical services.

Intake:

Self-referral as well as family, school or agency referrals are accepted.
Contact the Rehabilitation Services Manager for an intake interview.

Fees:

Funding is usually covered through a third party source such as state agencies including: Department of Rehabilitative Services (DRS) Medicaid (in conjunction with the Day Support Program), private insurance companies, local school systems, the United Way or private pay.

Fees are set each year with the DRS. For FY 2004-2005, the fees are:
